This new 6" x 6" tile by Motawi Tileworks sure to be a big hit with Frank Lloyd Wright collectors! Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) is recognized worldwide as one of the greatest architects of the 20th century. Wright's unique building technique, which became known as the Textile Block System, joined decorative concrete blocks together with reinforcing steel rods to create elegant interior and exterior walls. The John Storer House, constructed in 1923 in the Hollywood Hills, was the second Wright-designed home to feature the Textile Block System. This handsome tile is shown framed in our own handmade quarter sawn white oak frame, hand selected to ensure the best finish, in our flat 2" wide Oak Park profile. Also available in our 3" wide beveled Legacy profile, or unframed. Both frames come in a variety of stain color options.

We are so pleased to bring you the work of our good friend and Roycroft Master Artisan, Laura Wilder, presented here in Dard Hunter's quarter sawn white oak frames. We are so pleased to bring you the work of our good friend and Roycroft Master Artisan, Laura Wilder, presented here in Dard Hunter's quarter sawn white oak frames. For her open-edition giclee (pronounced "jhee-CLAY") prints such as those in the Dog Breed Series, Laura first creates an original commissioned painting; which is then reproduced with a high-quality digital printer, with archival and light-fast inks on high-grade paper. Measuring 11" x 14" including the printed black border, once framed with a 2" wide Oak Park style frame in our own Signature finish (as shown) it measures 14.5" x 17.5".
