These tree images were designed by Dard Hunter in 1905 for the Roycroft publication of Nature by Ralph Waldo Emerson. The original design incorporated initial capitals for the beginning of each chapter. In our updated version, the trees have been lovingly redrawn and are letterpress printed by hand in six colors. Matted in Tartan Green to a size of 10" x 8" and framed in our quartersawn white oak. Overall dimensions 13.5" x 11.5"

Acadia National Park: United States Travel Bureau poster was created in 1938 as part of the Works Project Administration (WPA) Federal Art Project. This poster has been faithfully reproduced by a team of artists. Using an original poster, every detail was reproduced to create the highest quality poster available. Heavy stock paper was used to produce a non-reflective matte finish for a look and feel of the original silk screened posters.
